Welcome To Ontario Hunting
Whitetail Deer Hunting: Ontario has exceptional wild Whitetail Deer Hunting with big heavy bucks with thick racks being harvested. The towns of Dryden, Ignace, Atikokan and Kenora have all been producing world class Whitetail Bucks.
Moose Hunting: Moose are very common in Ontario and can get as big as 1500 pounds. Most lodges have adult moose tags for Bull Moose and Cow Moose. If all the outfitters have their adult tags spoken for, please get a calf tag. Hunting Moose Calf is basically filling your freezer up with prime rib. It's very tasty meat.
Black Bear Hunting: Since the cancellation of the spring bear hunt, the population of Black Bears in Ontario has exploded. Not only are most hunters experiencing close to a 100% success rate, they are harvesting big bears. Sightings of black bears in the 500 to 1000 pound range have been documented. Most Black Bears in Ontario are in the 150 to 350 pound range.
